  2. I don't think there are any plans to finish the monument; the builders ran out of money and were too proud to accept money from Glasgow, so it remains half-constructed.

  3. Fantastic pictures, Katie. Just looking at the outside of Holyrood House, and thinking how cold and dreary it might be inside, if I were the queen, I opt for the hotel where you and Jean-Jacques spent your time. Being queen is perhaps not all that's it's cracked up to be.
