Seattle-bound!

We had a splendid end to our eleven-month journey abroad! We woke up at a reasonable hour, ate breakfast while talking with a fellow resident of the B&B; grabbed a train into Portsmouth; toured the HMS Warrior (which was built in 1860), HMS Victory (Lord Nelson’s flag ship at the Battle of Trafalgar), and the only surviving British WWII submarine; saw a cheesy movie about the British Royal Navy fighting modern day pirates; had a fantastic cream tea at cafĂ© in the museum complex; rode on a water taxi; and just scratched the surface of what we could have seen in Portsmouth. All in all, it was a fabulous day and we feel good about how our travels have finished.

Now it’s off to bed because tomorrow will be a long day filled with trains, planes, and automobiles and we've got an early wake-up time!

Can't wait to see everyone again!

  2. Hey you forgot the ferry. Boy it will be strange to be able to actually touch you instead of just skyping. Have a good trip home.
